Well, Chaos and I were considering making a Death Note RP.

We really don't have everything put together yet, but what it probably will be in it is Ryuk (who we guess got bored pretty quickly and came back to earth with another Death Note) in around 2013-15. It will *not* be in Japan like in the manga. The person playing the Kira-esque person will be Takumi. XP The characters will know about the incident with Light Yagami because you really couldn't hid what happened, could ya'? Please post any suggestions or roles you want to play. Also, if someone wants to specifically play Ryuk please tell us here.

Eh, for an example, there could have been some underground resistance against what Kira was doing during the events of the manga and your character was part of it. Or, your character had been a Kira-supporter or neutral in the whole matter. Not to say you should use these ideas, but you need to use the fact that the world went a little crazy for a few years and your character was in the midst of it. So, what choices did you make...?

Meh character didn'st care about Kira, but then gained interest when he gots his very own Death Note.

Since you're the new Kira, you also have to realize people are still recovering from Yagami's reign of terror and secrets about the Death Note and what happened have somehow leaked out. So you would have to be even more cautious (if that's possible) than Light was if you don't want to be shut down quickly.

Umm... who's going to be Ryuk? I don't think I'd be good for writing for him, so someone else better volunteer.

A police officer - Chaos
A criminologist - Itami
A Kira (lol) - Takumi
A Kira Supporter - ___________

We need at least 8 main (ish) characters, so any ideas or suggestions?

Takumi is so sooooory he couldn'st posts today! He got back at what is now the current time of 12:50 and is too tired to posts any Deathnote-ness... He will try tommorow, which is today...

and..he also can't see his own words after they're typed....

I WANT RYUK! And I have an idea: instead of the usual 3rd person, I think Death Note would really benefit from 1st perspective, with each of us writing scenes from our respective character's perspective.

Okay, I'll tell Takumi that during school. Do you want an actual character, or only Ryuk?

For now just Ryuk, but I'll do more if needed.

nope. I was wondering when I should start writing. The earliest I could do it would be tomorrow after school, and I wasn't sure about other people's ideas for starting it.
