I looked at the current RP's going on. Kingdom Hearts and Death Note? Pssh. It's been done.
I wanted to do and original RP that isn't based on n original concept.
It's somewhat of a dystopian society that has lost all connections with technology, accept weapons, with is the one tool that got them here to that day.
That's the basis. Depending on who wants to join, it'll change depending on their character.

Sure, I'm willing to join just about any RP, but what exactly is the goal of the people living in this world...? Just survival? And what exactly causes the main conflict in this society, other people?

Well, the main goal is basically survival and domination. However, we still have law enforcement (Called "Soldats") that try to stop the violence. In the RP you can be a Soldat or just a regular person.

I'll be in this "Soldats" (did you come up with the name?) So what's the whole plan for surivival then?

Soldat is French, German, and Russian for soldier (Technically, Dutch is Soldaat, if you want to count that). Those against the Soldats aren't really called anything, but Soldats call them "Runners", because they've been known to commit crimes to lure Soldats in just to kill them. Kind of using themselves as bait. The runners do this because they personally believe that the Soldats keep the society on too tight of a leash, if you get what I mean. Your character doesn't have to be on either side, they can be neutral. Also, a Runner and a Soldat can be friends, but you have to have a good alibi as to why members of opposing forces are joining up.
However, you cannot be a Runner and a Soldat at the same time.

I'm going to go on Team weapons/abilities. Soldats are like police officers so they have an amount of authority in towns. The usually have a uniform that includes a blue jacket, white undershirt, blue pants, and black boots. You can wear these uniforms any way you want (Pants legs rolled up, Jacket arms tied around waist...), and you can also wear any headgear/jewelry you want, keeping in mind that it does not obstruct your character's abilities or clashes with the current story line.
Soldats are allowed both guns and swords in their weapons, but to an extent. If you are a low ranking Soldat, they will equip you with both a gun and a sword, but the sword is small, can be held in one hand, but cannot block bullets. The gun is actually a small handgun (To be precise, a Browning HP 9 mm pistol), that can be deadly at a close range, but is not very accurate at long range.
When you are a higher rank, you can choose to take the sword class (Using two handed broadswords or Using two light Katana like swords at once or using lance), or the Gun class (The machine gun or the shotgun or the sniper rifle).
Soldats have special ability to call other Soldats to battle and heal others.

Runners are like Guerrillas, the don't have a uniform, therefor making them the "Unseen Enemy" (You can't tell if they are an enemy or if they are just a normal person.)
Runners are like Soldats in class, if you are a n00b, you get the wimpy small sword and hand gun, and later gets the Sword/Gun class.
Runners have the ability of stealth and are very fast and can run up walls.

If you are interested in this, post your character in this thread. If you want to have a little bit of freedom and choose something  else (Like change a weapon for Soldats or Runners for more originality) Talk about it in the character thread . Remember, neutral people have more freedom, but no cool special abilities.

Wow, this sounds like... a video game. Seriously, did you get this from a game or what?
I like it, but I only get attracted to RPs with big plot lines. The last time I did a war Rp, it got more than 50 people in it, so I've got some experience. ^_^ Except mine had to do with a war between species... (anthro,human,and robot...)

Everyone who said that they would join but haven't posted their character yet. I'd at least like to have three people in this before I actually start it.

I'll try this weekend if I have time, but all of my finals are next week.

Oh before we start I've got some questions..
1. What kind of world are they in? (post nuclear?)
2. Do they have any sort of vehicles? (I was hoping motercycles could be the main form of transportation...^_^ I love them so)
3. Are the soldats a army? Do they use the usual ranking? (Ex: Corporal, Lieutenant, General, Major General, Brigadier General)
4. Why are the two groups fighting?
Thats just about it.:3

#1: Post large war (It gets more dangerous then Nuclear)
#2: For vehicles there are mainly very primitive jeep-type cars. For a motorcycle, you'll have to make it on your own.
#3: The Soldats are kind of an army, but more like the police. And yes, they do have ranks like that.
#4: The Soldats have kind of put an Iron grip of power over the nation (A European-Asian country called "Gerud" (Geh-ruhed)), and the runners personally belive that they can take care of themselves, so nether side is really wrong. The Soldats wan peace, the Runners want freedom.

man... I've got no time much lately but anyway, I'm currently working on the post for the Death Note one and then when I'm done with that I'll do my character for this RP.  I'll be in Cheriko's team... but I've got some question since I want to draw out my character.. The uniforms doesn't matter how you wear them or what they look like as long as they follow the colors? since I don't really want my character to wear a skirt.... She's a female and I've decided she used to be a runner.... Since ITAMI is a runner I want my char to be friends with her... used to... but (I haven't decided what yet) something happened that made her a soldat, therefore.... Itami and I have at least a connection. ahahahahaha!!!! WWEEETTT happy now... Anyway, I'll think of more... but I will join in once Cheriko tell me that it's all ready.
