Rules for the RP. YOU MUST READ THIS BEFORE YOU POST ANYTHING MORE!!!!!!!!!!

1. No God-moding, meaning you cannot control other character’s actions and thoughts unless with consent.  You cannot also know what they are thinking and not all actions are known to you either.

Like Kieran wasn’t watching Christian in the restaurant the whole time so he cannot possible say that he’s talking to himself and if someone is there.  

Even if you are a psychic in the RP you cannot know every event that takes place.  You might as person know what really happens but your character does not.  

2. Can compromise, but must be realistic and detail oriented. Any information on the RP is based out of other people’s post.

3. REMEMBER: NEAR WILL NEVER TELL ANY INFORMATION REGARDING ABOUT THE KIRA CASE NOR THE DEATH NOTE  TO CIVILIANS INCLUDING THE KIDS IN WAMMY’S HOUSE. You can say he alluded on the case but he did not directly tell anyone about it.  I’m sure he’s only going to say or give a little bit information if a new case arises and it’s only going to be to certain few.  

4. Cannot come to direct conclusion that a person is Kira because it is not realistic and logical.  It’s been 3 years since the Kira case and also, barely anyone knows about the details.  The only time you can conclude that someone is Kira if mass evidence is supported which is through people’s post and your assumptions cannot be always correct. For example you might have heard more about the Kira case that are not true.

You cannot say that Christian is Kira just because he has a weird looking notebook because normally you’d just think it’s a notebook nothing more.  Also, if he is jumpy or in panic you come to logical reason not unsounded reasoning like he witnessed Kioko’s death in the room and was very terrified, that’s a logical reasoning for his jumpiness not because he killed someone since she died in a heart attack and was across the room.  You wouldn’t really think that people just die right before your eyes so you get scared of course.  

5. The only realistic for civilians to get involve in the Kira case is investigating on their own in pure curiosity about the death in the college. You should think that Kioko’s death was very unusual because she was healthy and young.


6. YOUR CHARACTERS CANNOT BE SMARTER THAN L, NEAR AND LIGHT. They could be as intelligent but they cannot come up with unreasonable conclusion. Even L did not directly say that Light is Kira, he investigated him.  Also the case took around 6 years to solve the Kira case.


7. This is more of a story that we are co-writing instead of an RP. Completely free and open role play.

8. If you want something to happened or suggest about the story you must ask everyone if they agree or we could we could vote and the majority wins.  But if it’s totally unrealistic, then we will refuse your request.  PLEASE DON’T JUST DECIDE ON FOR YOUR SELF. GET EVERYBODY INVOLVE.

9. They only get the information about the Death Note through hard and long investigations.  We don’t want this to be rushed and to end early. Please try your hardest to write the best you can.


10. Every post must be in first person.  You cannot put parenthesis inside your post to tell your actions or thoughts must all be written for example:
Rather than writing this:  He went inside (look out of the window)
Do this:       I went inside and looked out of the window.

You can put parenthesis if you have a personal message for everybody and it has to be on the top or the bottom of the post and it is out of character.  

11. Edit your post before you write anything new and make sure it abides by the rules.  This will make it more smoothly and will not create complications on the RP.

12. LAST BUT REALLY IMPORTANT: IF YOU FAILED OR YOU REFUSE TO OBEY THE ADMINISTRATORS’ RULES, THERE WILL BE CONSEQUENCES:
1. Your character will be killed off. The only way for you to re-enter the RP is to create a character but only if you followed the rules.
2. 7 day or a week blocked until you cooperate.
3. If this is remains as an issue you will be band from the site until further notice.

IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS ISSUE PLEASE CONTACT THE ADMINISTRATORS (EITHER CHAOS, ITAMI, OR CHERIKO) Please don’t make a scene on the public board if you have an issue. We will listen to you so you don’t have to worry about us ignoring your problem.  

We just want the RP to be fun for everyone in certain boundaries.  We apologize for not putting this up earlier because we did not think this is a big issue until certain events.

PEOPLE THAT ARE NOT KIRA/CHRISTIAN, EVERYTHING MUST BE IN MYSTERY.  YOU CAN ONLY COME UP WITH ANSWERS ON YOUR OWN IF IT’S REASONABLE AND IF YOU COLLABORATED WITH OTHER CHARACTERS.  For example, the police, the group or the Kira supporter.  This is the reason for the RP to get everyone involve.

These are like the RP rules I posted on a different when I modded the RP forum, but anyways these are pretty good rules Itami, and i'll be sure to follow them when I RP.
