A girl walked through the silent streets, her bright green eyes penetrating the dark. Her hair was long and wavy; it’s color the pale blue of the morning sky. It cascaded down the back of her black robe, the symbol of her organization. She walked slowly in the eternal night that had always embraced The World that Never Was.
A slight movement caught her eye, a twisting shadow on the ground. It rose and became a Neoshadow, a type of creature called a heartless. The girl took her three pronged spear and killed the creature with a single fluid stroke. One of her partners had always told her to let the heartless be, but she couldn’t. Whenever she saw one, an overwhelming power built up inside of her. Most would call this force anger, of hate, but she knew none of these, as she was a being with no heart or soul, a nobody. Yet, this unknown force made her kill the heartless, although she knew not the reason why. Her name was Xera.
As Xera walked, she began to see a figure in the distance, standing in front of the Memory’s Skyscraper. She strolled up to the person.
“Oh.” She said, with literally no emotion, “its you.”

The figure answered back with the deep voice Xera knew all too well.
"Hello, Xera." Xiram was Organization XIII's number II, and was one of the founding members. His pale orange eyes looked slightly out of place when matched with the dark blue of the city around them.

"What are you doing?" Xera asked with a hint of what would be called suspicion.

Xiram answered in the I'm-answering-your-question-but-not-really sort of way he always did. "I was just admiring the building. I'd best be on my way."

Xera knew Xiram wasn't 'just admiring the building'. He had been up to something for months involving that tower, and besides, nobodies can't 'admire'. They lack the ability to appreciate splendor, majesty, size, or anything else that skyscraper might be described as.

But Xiram was already far away and Xera decided not to pursue him. She didn't care.

Xera turned her head in a stand-offish way. "Feh." She muttered, and walked to the building. She touched the building surface, almost stroking it. "A tower of brilliance. What stories it holds." She thought. Summoning her will, she closed her eyes.

A flurry of images flew through her mind. A strong hearted boy. A nobody with a purpose. A battle of power. She opened her eyes, and sighed deeply. "To have the power of time... a curse?"

Xera ran her fingers through her hair. She was fairly new to the organization, her number being XIII. "I need to know." She decided. The people she knew, she barely understood. She didn't understand herself. She walked on.

Sayoxu was watching Xera from atop the neighboring building. Well this is peculiar, He thought. Sayoxu had become a nobody seconds after Xamir had, earning him the number III. Unlike Xamir, Sayoxu wasn't very good with words and was rather clumsy. But he could smash almost anyone in hand-to-hand combat.

Xera could become a problem, Sayoxu thought. I should take her out now. My trusty Kyoketsu-Shoge has enough reach to slice through her from here....But that could cause even more problems, He then watched Xera walk off. "I should get going. I need to leave here, get a breath of fresh air. Off to Radiant Gardens!" He called the powers of darkness forht and dissappeared.

Xera felt a force drawn behind her. She turned her head. "Oh. How careless of me." The being had dissapeared from the top of the skyscraper.

Xiram had already made it back to his private quarters. His room was about the 5th floor up, in what was once a hotel on top of what he understood was once a five-star restaurant. He entered his room and milled about his papers on his desk, then, after he could add nothing more to his research, he called the darkness and left.

Moving slightly forward from the top, she exposed her rarely grin under the shadows that hides her face. “Icky temptations” she muttered after witnessing the events from Xera slaughtering heartless. She pulled her hood down revealing her pale face, her red hair became crimson under the dark, with her peculiar eyes darted downward. “not that I care.” She added.

this particular nobody is Number IX, Xenris. Xenris is the kind of nobody that prefers to work alone. she obviously show no care about anything and everything around her. Rarely take her hood off in front of the other Nobodies. Unlike some of the Nobodies she rarely talk and cooperate with others, more like self-alliance, and if she does talk expect to hear a negative comment or reply.

After cogitating,she turned and saunter her way to the darkness door beyond.

"Nyahh, Everyone left again."  A short girl heaved out a sigh in the large, dark empty room that surrounded her.  Footsteps echoed behind her as she lifted a tall scythe that appeared nearby.

Kusaix tapped her foot in annoyance,  "I suppose looking for them would be useless," she told herself, untill a smile spread accross her face as if it was a form of irony, "Oh wells."

Kusaix, number VI of the organization, and the youngest at the ripe age of 12, dissappeared in a haze of darkness.

Appearing from the debths of darkness, Xenris stand before the exit of Naughtsky, as she descend the stairs she sense impotent powers lurking around her. A dozen neoshadows apeared before her which gave her a slight pleasure for fun. Her fingers moved expeditious as deadly piercing hand-size ices perfectly pointed upward between her fingers as she cross her arms. She darted the ices with an incredible speed through the heartless's chest, repeating it four times for each of them. Dark hazes soar with the glimmering hearts followed. "Lowlives" she murmured.

An applause rang her ears. A familiar figure stand before her facing each other.
"Impressive! Nicely done! It's nice to see your true appearance for the second time, Xenris. You havent chaged a bit for the last two years. Always so distant, locking youself under your hood." Xenris seemed to ignore him as she pulled her hood back to her head and continue descending the stairs then stopped when she's across with the Nobody. Both looking on the opposite directions.

"Maybe you forgot. I dont have a heart. Simple as it is, I dont care" she said calmly and called upon the darkness, leaving the Nobody alone.

"Hmph," Xiram grunted. "She's just so rude. We can't have that now, can we?"

He then continued up the stairs to where he had been going.

Yuffie was walking along the quiet stone walkways of Radient Gardens when she looked over her shoulder. "Is someone following me?" She walked faster.

She rounded the corner and felt that someone-or something's presence. She was running at this point. Now she was sprinting. She entered the square, hoping to find Aerith, Leon, or even Cloud or Tifa. But instead she saw a lone figure in a long, black coat.

"Hello, miss," The figure spoke.Yuffie didn't know it, but the figure was none other than Sayoxu himself.

Leon was looking for his partners in the restoration committee. Radient Gardens was almost restored completely, why did everyone have to disappear now, of all times??

Leon turned right into the square. He stared in amazement as he saw Yuffie, his comerade, piled on the cold gound unconscious. Good-she was still breating.

His eyes widened and his pupils shrank in utter fear. On the opposing wall, there was a note with words written in black pen and beautiful calligraphy, "We'er Back." Leon ran for help.

Sayoxu was having fun watching around the corner. If he could have emotions now, he would choose glee. He laughed a few empty laughs after Leon left, picked up the unconscious Yuffie and went back into the darkness.

As Sayoxu turned to leave he came face to face with a floating Kusaix sitting on her scythe as if it was a broomstick and she was a witch.  A look of innocence was displayed on her features as she was a master at giving the so-called "puppy-dog pout"

"Sayooo-san, trying to start havoc again I see?"  A not so genuine smile graced her features as she giggled and turned away slightly, "So thats what you guys were up too," She paused letting her cheeriness only drop a little; but then sighed in exasperation, "I shouldve known."

Sayoxu stood passively with an annoyed expression on his face. 'what a nosey littl girl...' and faltered back a step as Kusaix jumped down, landing gracefully on both feet.  Her cloak was unzipped and flew behind her in the descent.

She smiled brightly once more and reached out to tug on his arm, "But now that you got to have your fun with Leon-san, you can come and keep me company Sayo-kun!!!"  Sayoxu only struggled a little but eventually gave into her prodding, hearing her mumble something about finding everyone else to 'play' with.
Honestly, how can a little girl, a nobody pretend to be so happy all the time, when she didnt even possess a heart or emotions for that matter?

Emerging from the dark haze, Xenris found herself standing in the vast plain of Radiant Garden where the previous keyblade master fought the 1000 heartless. ‘What fun could I get in here?’ she thought finally relaxed after meeting Xiram which reminded her. ‘Much better if he turns to an oglop.’ She grinned.

She stroll forward and reached the battle field between the mighty Sephiroth and Cloud. Walking to the edge, she sense a familiar power behind her.

Xera walked in a slow pace in Radient Gardens, her shoes making clicking noises on the stone wall. She was walking on top of this wall, staring at the streets bellow. "Feh." She said, as she saw the members of the orginization, carrying out their own work.
She strolled over to the large, canyon-like space nearby the stores. She calmly placed her hand on the stone, and closed her eyes, tapping into visions of the past.
The vision was magnificent. A battle of angels, 1000 black swarming creatures verses one person, and a undying hope. Xera staggered back from the impact of these things in her mind. After a few seconds of deep breathing, she regained her composure.
She continued walking to see a rather familiar person in front of her, only a couple feet away. Her flaming red hair standing brilliantly against her black clothing.  Xera ran her hands through her own hair and sighed.
"Hello Xenris."

(( an oglop is the little bug like creatures from final fantasy IX. Search it in photobucket maybe its there or something.))

Xenris stayed immobile after Xera’s greeting. She felt her great power draw nearer to her as Xera take steps forward alongside where Xenris stand. It seems that Xenris did not acknowledge Xera’s greeting but all knows that’s the way she is. With all the nobodies Xenris is more calm showing her face around Xera though for a second. She moves her fingers behind her and places her hood back to her head. Xera just smiled.
“What do you think of their little games?” Xera asked. Before Xenris could reply, a slight squall rang in their ears from a distance. The sound is so appalling with screams of horror as more civilians shared their voices on the air.

“Is it playtime already?” Xenris asked with a slight smirk on her face. “I’ll make appearance later for I’ll observe the events for now.” Xenris shifted back and stroll away then cease in her place a couple of feet from Xera. “Aren’t you going to join them?” She asked Xera, not looking back nor did she.

Xera flicked her hair, still not turning. "Heh. For what reason would I do that? Let them play their games, have a little fun. After all, you and I both know what is to come..." She smirked. She walked a few paces and turned. "What of you? I thought you had something...rather important going on."
Xenris slightly nodded. "It can wait." She paused and began again. "You really plan to start it, don't you?" Xenris asked, her voice indifferent. Xera smiled a bit, a rare sight, something only Xenris had seen before. "Of course. Why else would I go through so much trouble?" With that note, Xera left, dark shadows swirling where she had been standing.

"What on Earth?"

Xiram had entered Radiant Gardens from atop that atrocious duck-shaped building. "Is EVERYONE here?? I can feel so much.... nothingness....lingering here"

Who could he sense at the moment? Sayoxu, Kusaix, Xera, Xenris, and many of the others were here.... even her?

Xenris turned and stood where her feet have led her as she watch Xera disappear in the haze of darkness. She grins for the amusement for her being all different in front of Xera. Somehow there are bizarre… something… within her that she can’t recognize. It cannot be feelings and emotions. It’s unfeasible. She is a nobody after all.  But what is it? By any means, this thing wants her to be distant to everybody but she doesn’t want to be alone. Which one is it? Is somebody messing up in her mind? It can be. She’ll notice if there is somebody.

“Aah!”

Something struck her head that left lethal pain. Like some kind of blade darted its deadly edge on her head then to her mind. Her hands shook hysterically as she budged them to her head. She felt pain… ‘Feelings?’ She fell on her knees still grasping her head, ‘heart?’ her eyes, tightly closed.

“AAAAHHHHH!!!” she roared as the pain felt like a million blades stabbed her head. She endeavored opening her eyes; but nothingness locked them. Her head blending with memories from yesterday… last week… last year… then… last life. She felt falling on the ground and being swallowed in complete darkness… It’s all dark.

“Where am I?” she asked to her self as she gained consciousness, the pain in her head cease but darkness still surrounds her. “I can’t see.” She recognized she’s laying down. She gained her self and stood up, her head still buzzing. ‘Are my eyes closed?’ she thought questioning the darkness. She blinked. ‘that’s a no… Where am I?’ she stepped forward.

“Huh?” something in front of her flickered then standby. “Light?”

“Light and darkness… I’ve been serving in between. When will I taste the end?”

Thoughts flies in her head as she stroll forward to the light. She lifted her arms to wrap her eyes from the blinding light, as she gets closer. Beyond the light, voices echoes, roaring and pleading. As she gets closer and closer to the light, she makes out unfocused images.

“NO! You can’t leave us! We need you!” a woman cried. She sat on the floor with a little girl clinging on her desperately. Her face is pale and drenched in tears, extending her arm in front of a man.

Xenris finally stepped forward to the light and abandoned the darkness behind her.  She looked back; the darkness had disappeared like how she usually calls them in teleportation. She tilted her head back to the event in front of her. Her presence is unseen. Somehow, she felt familiar with it.

“Is this my memory?” she asked her self as she gazes at the little innocent girl, crying under her mother’s arm.

“This is not what I wanted to be!” the man yelled. His hands clutched tightly and his eyes… they’re burning… No… “Those are my eyes…” a black orb in the middle and a fire around it. Xenris looked stunned.

“Father please don’t leave us. We love you.” The little girl distracted Xenris as she ran to her father. Her long brown hair bouncing gracefully with her blue eyes shimmering from her tears. As she extends her arm to embrace her father, his heavy hand darted on her face. She fell under Xenris. She cried, she cried because of the pain she received. Not the pain she endure in her face, but the pain that she was rejected. Her mother and father didn’t care as they continued bickering.

Xenris gaze down and bend her knees to get closer to her.

“I’m you aren’t I?” she knew she wouldn’t get any answer.
