So Anime Nebraskon is coming up soon!!

Anime Nebraskon, for those who don't know, is the Anime Con in Lincoln Nebraska. It's very fun and really cool!

Date: November 14-16

I'm probably going to go. Who else is going or thinking of going?!

As for cosplay...it's greatly encouraged! I'll probably go as Kairi (from KH 2) again, or go as Sora Naegino (pirate costume)

Who's going to go and as what?

I'm probably going to ask for a reservation for my birthday. If so, I'll go as the classic Pyramid Head (Please Click Link).

I will go, if I can get a ride, but I most likely won't cosplay.

It just is. Don't argue with me. I've been there. The only way it is possible to have no fun cosplaying is if you hate anime or you are incredibly stubborn about "what's normal" and what's "obsessive" *coughmodrockercough*. I'm pretty sure actual cosplayers would agree with me.

P.S. Cosplayers are not "obsessive". The just have a passion for that sort of thing.

Totally agree. Cosplaying just makes it ten times better.

Most likely, I'll be going to the con as Full Moon from Full Moon wo Sagashite. The costume where she's wearing all white. The costume is pretty simple, and there's a Full Moon wo Sagashite group going that asked me to cosplay for it.

I can't wait!  

The main reason I want to go is for all the anime stands and goods. Plus, i'm not the cosplaying type anyway, and I don't even look like any anime character. I honestly agree with modrocker on the normal and obsessive thing.

It certainly seemed that you were more then enthusiastic for our (epic fail) Death Note group. You went so far as to buying glasses that resembled Matt's. Same goes for Modrocker, a now anti-cosplayer.

Also, on the Obsessive thing, it's just an opinion in this context, mostly because Modrocker think that it is too "geeky". And you also agree with him just because you agree with him on every other damn thing.

Yeah, no kidding. Honestly hun, anime cons just aren't fun if you don't really get into it. Just going there for the stands is kinda like going to disneyland just for the gift shops.

lol, I used those glasses for other stuff, plus they were cheap.

Either way, I don't look like any anime character, so it'd be kind of pointless to cosplay anyway. Also, I what difference it makes if you cosplay or don't, other than winning an award or something.

ARRRGGG, you don't have to LOOK like the character, you just have to dress as them.
And the winning of an award or something is just like the icing on the cake. Icing is awesome, but the cake is what you really eat!
Its just fun to cosplay when you go to cons. You can pretend to be a character, you meet new people (cuz they want to find out what your costume is/ they recognize which character your cosplaying), you can participate in various fun panels, so on and so fourth.

Its just the BEST PART of an anime con.
